Donna is the author of the book, I Never Walk The Halls Alone.  Patients and families share the most intimate life lessons. Faith shows up. The life of a Christian nurse is blessed. An excerpt from this book is found in, Worry Less, Live More: God’s Prescription for a Better Life . a bestseller by Dr. Robert Morgan. Donna’s book makes a great gift for nurses, nursing students, or any healthcare worker.

My Story

Lifelong learning is an expectation for nurses. Dr. Donna climbed that academic ladder. In 1978, she graduated with a Diploma in nursing. Fast forward to 2017 when she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).

Dr. Donna is a peer reviewer for The Journal of Christian Nursing. She posts a monthly newsletter and blog. She contributes to several Face Book communities. A member of the American Writers and Speakers Association, she enjoys networking with Christian women authors. As a presenter she has been the key note speaker for Senior Day at the Fair and various community organizations. She is a blogger and creates helpful videos on YouTube. Dr. Donna also is guest lecturer for nursing students at the University on spiritual care, grief, and loss. She is in the process of creating courses with essential education for nursing students. 

She lives in Indiana with her husband. They enjoy gardening, singing, baking, birding, and serving on Christian retreats.
